I've been meaning to check WNYC's site to see if they've done another Soundcheck Vanished Venues podcast recently, but it slipped my mind until my NYC librarian/rock and roll galpal Marie sent me a link for a podcast the station did a few days ago about my former employer's book-buying budget woes. Turns out a VV was broadcast on January 7 about the Palladium, complete with guest Ira Robbins from Trouser Press and a phone call from Debbie Harry. It focuses mainly on the hall's late '70s/early '80s period.
