These are, of course, completely fascinating. I notice that almost every month there seems to be a "secret headliners cannot be announced" act, usually in midweek. I wonder who they were? I assume they were just bands who were opening at the Academy Of Music or something, whose contracts prevented them from being advertised, but it's still a fascinating curiosity.
I also love looking at the ads right next the ads for Max's, Slugs, Gaslight Au Go Go, etc, as a snapshot of who was around at the time.
