Back o' my neck gettin' dirt n' gritty

Wow. This is a great blog. I'm old enough to remember (vaguely) a lot of this stuff. I I like the Spoonful ad that's reproduced here, although I'm not sure what the 'ever-changing' Spoonful means. Is it a play on seasonal i.e. changing seasons, or a reference to Zal being kicked out of the group and replaced by Jerry Yester although I don't think this happens until 1967.
