6/5/70 issue. Just reposting this from the previous entry 'cause it got a bit messed up there. Sending it out to Tom in Sunnyside!
6/5/70 issue. The 8/27/70 "Riffs" column reported that most of the concerts that season were rather mediocre, save the final one with Fleetwood Mac (link goes to a nearby ad).

8/13/70 issue. Also in this issue, but which I never found any ads for, was a report on the Peace Festival at Shea Stadium. (The link goes to an adjacent ad listing the Cafe au Go-Go as a prospective site for a "daily rock festival.")

A lot of canceled festivals here--according to the very reliable Kinks chronology, Mountaindale (July 11) was canceled on one day's notice, due to a Sullivan County restraining order. i guess Powder Ridge was canceled, and I'm pretty sure "Harmonieville" (near Philadelphia) was a no-go as well.
Its interesting that you found incontrovertible evidence of "Woodstock Two." Everyone likes to pretend it didn't happen, since it ruins the narrative. The only group I know that played was Procol Harum, much to their own dismay.
