    i drove all the way from Cincinnati to New York in August of 72 to see the Jeff Beck Group at Gaelic Park. Opening acts were Flash, Argent, and Blue Oyster Cult. Beck along with Max Middleton Bogert and Appice and Kim Milford on vocals showed up very late and played a meager 30 minute set. A beer can riot ensued after that. What a MESS.

    I was at The Capitol Theater show in July '71 for Black Sabbath and Humble Pie but I remember Yes opening the bill...
